In addition to The Norwalk Inn offers 122 guest rooms, our newly-constructed Third Floor boasts an additional 40 luxurious rooms. From Enhanced Double-Beds, Executive Kings and Queens, and Suites, every posh room on the Top Level is brightly lit with soft-toned walls, spectacular views of the City of Norwalk, marble counters for the custom-made microwave/mini-fridge/Keurig-Coffee area, glass-showers, and all of the spacious and spotless accommodations found in any of our private and serene rooms.

Following a 13-million-dollar restoration of the Grumman-St. John House (The Guest House), the City of Norwalk granted The Norwalk Inn’s owners to begin construction of a third story to the original 1955 Inn. While architectural plans were being drawn and finalized, The Inn underwent a major renovation – from a brand-new Lobby, a year-round, retractable Atrium, marble floors, to a complete overhaul of the existing 77 guest rooms and suites. Each room was lovingly revitalized with new/up-to-date décor, hardwood floors, mini-refrigerators, and more.
Construction itself began in 2014 and in the summer of 2017, Owner and General Manager Chris Handrinos was proudly featured in The Hour – the Third Floor had officially been opened! Posh amenities such as custom-made cabinetry with space for stainless-steel appliances, kitchenettes, hardwood floors, marble countertops, glass-enclosed showers, hardware and furnishings from top-end manufactures such as Toto, Kohler, Hooker, and more await guests upon opening the door to their room. When viewing The Inn from the exterior, the slate, mansard roof of the Third Floor is clearly noticeable – when guests view the exterior from their rooms, they are in for quite a surprise: a complete, unobstructed view of the City overlooking the Norwalk River! Hands-down, no other hotel in the area can boast such views (nor offer the reasonable-priced accommodations!)

Enhanced Two-Full beds
Spacious enough for a party of two or four, soft, warm tones meet the eye upon entering the room. Beautiful custom-made Brazilian wood cabinets complimented with an imported marble countertop grace the storage area for the in-room microwave, mini-refrigerator, Keurig coffee machine, and ice decanter. Off the bedroom is a luxurious tile-floor bath complete with a marble vanity, walk-in glass shower, and accessories from high-end manufacturers such as Kohler, Toto, and more await in a spa-like atmosphere. Hardwood floors, exquisite nightstands and dresser, large desk, and deluxe full-beds topped with hand-woven designer sheets and blankets complete these magnificent guest rooms. The new level of The Inn boasts three suites with full-kitchenettes (cooktops) – two are one-bedroom King Suites and one a two-Queen Suite. A spacious living room meets the eye upon entry, with glass and marble-topped tables, an oversized sofa/pullout, writing table, and kitchenette: the marble countertop hosts the in-room two-burner cook-top, stainless-steel sink, Keurig coffee-machine, and plenty of space for cooking. A mini-refrigerator is fitted into the custom-made cabinets, with ample room for storage and all the necessary items for cooking and dining. Off the living room, French Doors upon to the private, intimate bedroom, with one King bed; the room is accented by high-end furnishings, including nightstands, dresser, lamps, and mattresses that are sure to ensure for a great night of rest. The spa-like bath is accessible via the bedroom or from the living room. Tile floors and crisp, white walls with beautiful sconces above the his-and-her marble vanity greet the eye.
